Lots of conversation and lots of action at Routes World 2022, Las Vegas

With over 2200 registered attendees, last week’s Routes World took place in fabulous Las Vegas! Kicking off with a welcome reception at the famous Sahara Las Vegas which brought attendees together with a packed out, outdoor pool party which set the scene for a great week of networking!
The hard work followed with over 8000 meetings across the 3 days between 700+ organisations including senior network planners from over 190+ of the world’s airlines. In addition to the all-important meetings a packed conference schedule which included speakers from Allegiant, Ryanair, Vinci Airports, London Gatwick, Air Canada, Wizz Air, JetBlue and many many more!
Running alongside World Routes was this year’s Take-off Conference, designed to bring medium and smaller airports to the table with airlines to build new air service, normally a standalone event, attendee’s where able to take advantage of both events under one roof for the first time!
Routes World finished up with a spectacular gala networking evening at Resort World’s Zouk nightclub and outdoor oasis, providing the backdrop for the industry famous Routes Marketing Awards for which Brussels International stole the show winning the overall 2022 award and the 5-10 Million Passenger award. Nuremberg won the Under 5million passenger award, Athens Airport won the 10-17.5 million passenger award, Cancun International Airport took the Over 17.5 million passenger award and Cape Town Air Access took the 2022 Destination Award.
