New Route of the Day (1 December 2022): Twin Jet between Lyon and Bologna
Twin Jet (IATA code T7) on Thursday 1 December began non-stop service between Lyon and Bologna. The 510-kilometre route will be served Monday to Friday using 19-seat Beechcraft 1900Ds. The route was most recently served 6-weekly by Air France until the end of October 2022 using Embraer E170s operated by HOP! Pre-pandemic the route was served 11-weekly by Air France using a mix of E190s, CRJ-700s and CRJ-1000s.
Seats on this new Twin Jet service can be booked on the airline’s website or on Air France’s website, as the airline is involved in Air France / KLM’s frequent flyer programme Flying Blue.
Eight routes this December
According to Cirium schedules data, Twin Jet operates a total of eight routes this winter. The other seven are (weekly frequency in brackets):
- Lyon – Milan MXP (11), Lyon – Stuttgart (9)
- Marseille – Metz (9), Marseille – Milan MXP (9), Marseille – Toulouse (25)
- Paris ORY – Le Puy (7)
- Toulouse – Metz (9)
While the airline operates between 34 and 38 daily flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, it has only 22 flights on a Friday, two on a Sunday and none on a Saturday. The airline has 13 B1900Ds according to its website.
