New Route of the Day (22 October 2021): Transavia between Paris ORY and various
Transavia has expanded its route network from Paris ORY with the addition of three new services. On Friday 22 October the carrier added new routes to Berlin (3-weekly), Rome FCO (4-weekly) and Santiago de Compostela (2-weekly). This followed the launch of 3-weekly service to Stockholm ARN on Thursday 21 October. Air France’s in-house LCC faces direct competition from Orly on three of the routes:
- Berlin: Air France (daily), easyJet (daily)
- Rome FCO: easyJet (2-daily), Vueling (2-daily)
- Stockholm ARN: Vueling (3-weekly from 6 November)
In addition, there is indirect competition in November from Paris CDG and Beauvais:
- Berlin: Air France from CDG (30-weekly), easyJet from CDG (13-weekly)
- Rome FCO: Air France from CDG (33-weekly), Alitalia from CDG (14-weekly) and Ryanair from BVA (9-weekly)
- Stockholm ARN: Air France from CDG (18-weekly) and SAS from CDG (12-weekly)
Transavia is starting a number of other routes from Paris ORY in the coming weeks, including Amman in Jordan, Cape Verde and Hurghada in Egypt.
