New Route of the Day (24 June 2022): flydubai between Dubai and Pisa
flydubai (IATA code FZ) launched a new European service on Friday 24 June. It now connects Dubai and Pisa in Italy with 3-weekly (Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) flights using its 737 MAX 9s. the 4,540-kilometre is not served by any other carrier. This is currently the Italian airport’s only non-stop service to the Middle East. Qatar Airways began daily service to Pisa from Doha in August 2016, but this route has not been operating since the start of the pandemic.

Third route to Italy
flydubai will this summer serve three destinations in Italy in total, with Catania (3-weekly) and Naples (4-weekly) its other routes. The new route to Pisa is the airline’s longest European route this summer, beating Prague (4,470 kilometres) by 70 kilometres.
