New Route of the Day I (24 October 2021): SmartWings between Bratislava and Dubai

SmartWings has enabled Bratislava in Slovakia to become the latest European city to have a non-stop service to Dubai when it launched weekly flights to the UAE hub on Sunday 24 October. The 4,180-kilometre route will be flown using the airline’s 189-seat 737 MAX 8s. The inaugural flight of QS 1500 was flown by OK-SWE. The flight to Dubai took just over five hours while the return journey (flight QS 1501) took just over six hours according to flightradar24.com. SmartWings also serves Dubai from Prague with daily service, also using its 737 MAX 8s. These are the longest routes currently operated by SmartWings.
