Themes of the Week
- Delta, Porter and United transition PBI routes to the new airport code, DJT, this week.
- American will suspend two LGA and one PHX routes from this winter onward and filed new service on one route.
- Allegiant has their earnings call this week on Tuesday.
Capacity Update
American (AA)
- Reduced October capacity -1% week over week.
- Suspended LGA to DSM and LIT from December 17 and January 5 onward, respectively.
- Suspended PHX to Monterrey, MX (MTY) from December 2 onward.
- Pushed the restart of JFK to Tel Aviv (TLV) service until March 27, 2027.
- Filed new service from ORD to SBN from October 5 onward with three times daily service. The new service will replace the three daily Landline trips currently operating.
Asiana (OZ)
- Seoul (ICN) to HNL is suspended until December 18.
Breeze (MX)
- Suspended five routes in September: ALB to RSW; FLL to AVP and SBY; CHS to CUN; and MCO to PSM.
- Removed CUN to PVD from future schedules. It was scheduled to operate in December through March.
- Suspended CRW to EWR in February and March
Cathay Pacific (CX)
- Upgauged most flights to the United States and Canada from Hong Kong (HKG) in November through March.
Delta (DL)
- Replaced all PBI routes (ATL, BOS, DTW, JFK, LAX, LGA and MSP) with the new DJT code.
Lufthansa (LH)
- Suspended Frankfurt (FRA) to DEN and Munich (MUC) to IAD from mid-January through February.
- Reduced FRA to JFK and ORD from two to one daily flight from November through March.
Porter (PD)
- Replaced YYZ to PBI with the new DJT code.
- Suspended service between YHZ and YTZ from September 8 through October.
Southern Airways Express (9X)
- Suspended service from Bradford, PA (BFD) and DuBois, PA (DUJ) from March 14, 2027 onward. Both markets are Essential Air Service and while no official announcement has been made, both regions support SkyWest service.
- 9X has also stopped flying to Williamsport, PA (IPT) as of August 1 (schedules are still in Diio) due to outstanding payments with the airport.
- Will resume service between KOA and OGG in October with twice daily flights. They last served the route in September 2024.
Southwest (WN)
- Reduced November capacity by -1% week over week.
- Added one college football route in November, CMH to OMA.
Sun Country (SY)
- Suspended EAU to LAS and MSP to STL in September.
United (UA)
- Replaced all PBI routes (DEN, EWR, IAD, IAH and ORD) with the new DJT code.
