Savannah Airport Roundtable February 20-22

Alaska reduced capacity 1% week over week from May through September.
American reduced April capacity 1% week over week. They extended the suspension of JFK to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) until March 30. They suspended ORD to Paris, France (CDG) and PDX from March 1 through April 3.
China Airlines removed HNL to Taipei, Taiwan (TPE) from their schedules. It was scheduled to restart service in April 2024 and was last served in March 2020.
Delta increased capacity 1% week over week in February. They announced and filed SEA to TPE starting in June. They last served TPE in 2017. Delta also added special flights for the college football Sugar and Rose Bowl games. They are suspending two perimeter rule exception markets from LGA: SLC and LAS. Both of these markets are only able to operate on Saturdays and both only started a few months ago (LAS in September 2023 and SLC in July 2023).
Discover Airlines removed Frankfurt, Germany (FRA) to SLC service that was scheduled to start in May.
Spirit reduced capacity in February 11% week over week and 5% week over week in March. They suspended 20 markets in Q1 and removed six markets from future schedules.
United reduced March capacity 2% week over week. They extended the suspension of TLV markets IAD, ORD and SFO until mid-February. They suspended IAH to Santiago, Chile (SCL) from April through October. They also added special flights for college football bowl games (Sugar, Rose and Peach). They announced and filed new service from SFO to Barcelona, Spain (BCN) starting in May.
Zipair suspended three route from January through March (Tokyo Narita, Japan (NRT) to LAX, SFO and SJC) and suspended HNL to NRT from April onward.
