Savannah Airport Roundtable February 20-22

Air Canada removed BOS to YVR from future schedules. They suspended EWR to YOW from May through October 28. They announced they will be flying to Tulum, Mexico (TQO) from YYZ and YUL in Summer 2024.
Alaska has cancelled BOI to AUS and will be ending BOI to ORD from February onward.
American filed new service from ATW to DFW from June onward. They also extended ATW to CLT to year-round service. They suspended DFW to FAY from March 4 onward.
Breeze suspended MCO to SNA from February through April. PHX to CHS and SBD were suspended in June. PHX to BDL and RIC were suspended in June and July. They announced and added new service from MCO to BDL starting May 29 and will resume CMH to SNA service from May 30 onward.
Contour added PHX to Moab, UT (CNY) starting in February. They were awarded the Alternate Essential Air Service (EAS) contract for $17.7m for 32 months. The contract was previously held by SkyWest to DEN and that service will likely be terminated in February. The same story will happen for Vernal, UT (VEL) in February. New service on Contour will begin in April due to the award of the EAS contract. Contour will receive up to $19.1m for the 32 month contract period. SkyWest also previously held this contract and will likely terminate service from February onward.
Delta announced and filed new AUS service to BNA, MAF and MFE starting in April with three flights per day in each market. They also pushed the restart of JFK to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) to March 30.
Frontier extended their schedule through August 8, 2024.
Hawaiian removed new service HNL to Sapporo, Japan (CTS) that was scheduled to start in April.
JetBlue announced they will be flying to TQO from JFK starting in June 2024.
Lynx filed new service from YYZ to SFO starting in April.
SAS removed ORD to Stockholm, Sweden (ARN) that was scheduled to restart in April.
Silver removed JAX markets FLL and MSY from January 2024 onward. This would result in Silver exiting the JAX market entirely if these removals remain permanent.
Southwest extended their schedule through October 2, 2024.
Spirit is resuming three routes in May that it had suspended since 2022: BNA to LGA; BWI to MYR; and DFW to PNS. They extended their schedule until August 6, 2024.
United suspended seven Asia and Australia routes in February and early March. They are resuming two CLE routes in March through May: LAS and PHX. Both were last served in 2022.
