Airlines were very busy this week adding new flights, adding specialty flights for events and battling it out in ORD.
Allegiant will have their earnings call this Wednesday.

Air Canada (AC)

Filed new and resumed service to Quito, Ecuador (UIO) from YUL and YYZ starting in December. YYZ was last served in 2020.They also are resuming service to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR) from YYC.
They have removed YQR to YUL from future schedules (only scheduled to fly in September).

Air France (AF)

Filed special flights for the 2026 Cannes Film Festival and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in Nice, France (NCE) from JFK and LAX.

All Nippon Airways (NH)

Resuming Tokyo-Narita, Japan (NRT) to YVR flights from June through August. They last served the route in 2023. The flights are selling on ANA’s website and via Google Flights, but are filed as restricted in DiioMi.

American (AA)

Filed new service from JFK to YQB and YYC from early August through September and October.
Filed special flights from LGA to OMA for the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting in May.

Avianca (AV)

Filed new service from Guatemala City, Guatemala (GUA) to SFO from June through August.

Breeze (MX)

Filed 14 new twice weekly routes starting in May or June: ACY to CHS and RDU; BDL to SDF; BRO to MCO; CMH to GSP; FLL to HSV and PNS; LAX to SDF; MEM to SAT; MSN to RDU; NAS to TPA; PIT to SDF; PNS to SAT; and RDU to SAT.

Contour (LF)

Filed new service from Carlsbad, NM (CNM) to ABQ and DEN from March onward. Contour will be taking over the Essential Air Service (EAS) contract from Advanced Air and will receive $5.8m for the first year of service.

Delta (DL)

Filed new service from AUS to AVL from June 13 through September 5. They removed AUS to VPS from the summer schedule.
Resuming service from BOS to YHZ from June through October. They last served the market in 2010.

Etihad (EY)

Frontier (F9)

Removed PHL to SAV from future schedules. This is a station exit for Frontier, which will no longer serve SAV going forward.

ITA (AZ)

Added special flights between JFK and Milan, Italy (MXP) for the Winter Olympics.

JetBlue (B6)

Porter (PD)

Filed three new routes starting in May: BNA to YTZ, BOS to YUL and YYZ.
They are also resuming service between YQB and YYZ in May. The market was last served in 2024.

Southwest (WN)

Filed special Super Bowl flights from BOS to HOU, SFO and SJC; PVD to SFO and SJC; and SEA to SFO.

United (UA)

Filed service to five new or resuming cities from ORD starting this spring: AZO, BMI, CMI, LAN and LSE.
Filed special seasonal service from ORD to Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL) from June 9 through 28. This is for the FIFA World Cup soccer games in Mexico.

Filed new service from SAT to Queretaro (QRO) from November onward.
Suspended service from Morelia (MLM) to SAT and Mexico City (MEX) to SMF from April and March onward.
