Capacity Update
Air Canada (AC)
- Suspended all flights to Cuba until late October
Air Liaison (DU)
- Increased capacity in Canada due to adding one DHC8-300, on wet lease from Great North Airlines.
American (AA)
- Resuming PHL to Santiago, Dominican Republic (STI) from May 21 through September 8.
- Filed 14 college football routes for October 2026.
Breeze (MX)
- Filed 17 new or resumed markets from July onward: CMH to SAV; CVG to GSP and PWM; FLL to AVP, BHM, CHS, GSP, JAX, SBY, TLH and TPA; MYR to PIT; RDU to BHM, and TLH; CAK to PWM; TPA to ACY and CMH. BHM and TLH are new destinations for Breeze.
- Added special flights between ILM and MSY in April.
EgyptAir (MS)
- Filed new service from Cairo, Egypt (CAI) to LAX and ORD starting in May and June, respectively, with three times weekly service.
JetBlue (B6)
- Suspended service on 10 routes from mid-May onward: AVL to BOS; BDL to LAX; BOS to SMF; Belize City (BZE), Grand Cayman (GCM), Guatemala (GUA), PSE and San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP) to JFK; EWR to RSW; and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ) to TPA. AVL and BZE will be station exits.
- Seasonally suspended service from BDL to RSW and BOS to PHX during the summer.
North Star Air (0N)
- Canadian airline North Start Air suspended all but seven routes from future service. The remaining routes are: YFH to YQT; YLH to YFH; YQT to YWP; YWP to YLH;YXL to ZRJ; ZPB to YXL; and ZRJ to ZPB. Porter (PD)
- Suspended service between YTZ and MDW from September onward.
Qantas (QF)
- Filed new service from Sydney, Australia (SYD) to LAS from December 29 onward. This is the first new gateway to the U.S. from Australia added in the last eight years and it is the first new U.S. route added by Qantas in 15 years!
Spirit (NK)
- Reduced capacity between -16% and -27% week over week from May through September.
- Suspended 15 routes from Mid-April onward: FLL to CHS, CLE, EYW, LAS, MCI, MGA and SAL; MCO to CUN and MYR; DTW to RSW; IAH to GUA, SAL, SAP and XPL; and MSY to SAP.
TAP (TP)
- Filed new service from Lisbon, Portugal (LIS) to MCO from December 29 onward with three times weekly service.
WestJet (WS)
- Filed new service from YUL to Cozumel, Mexico (CZM) from March 14 through April 24 with once weekly service.
- Suspended two YYC routes from late June onward: Lethbridge, AB (YQL) and Medicine Hat, AB (YXH).
- Suspended eight Cuba routes from future schedules.
