Alaska suspended five routes in October (PAE to HNL and TUS; PDX to MIA and YVR; and SEA to Belize City, Belize (BZE)).

American increased capacity 1% week over week in August. Several routes were suspended in late summer/early fall (AUS to Cabo San Lucas, MX (SJD); Cancun, MX (CUN) to BOS and LAX; FCA to ORD; MIA to YUL; PHL to Grand Cayman (GCM) and Nassau, Bahamas (NAS)).

Azul suspended FLL and MCO to both Belo Horizonte, Brazil (CNF) and Recife, Brazil (REC) through May.

Breeze announced and filed new service from MHT to CHS, MCO and RSW starting in June and October. They extended their schedule through January 7, 2025.

Cayman Airways is suspending service from DEN to GCM from August 11 onward.

Delta is suspending ATL to Cozumel, MX (CZM) from June 2 through December 20. They are suspending DAL to LAX from May 7 onward. Looking beyond May, Delta will only offer service from DAL to ATL and Alaska offers service to SEA. Southwest is the only other carrier at DAL. Delta is also suspending LAX to London Heathrow (LHR) from May 6 onward. They still have 10 slot pairs at LHR.

Frontier announced and filed 17 new routes this week: ATL to GRR, ISP, ORF and SYR; ORD to BNA, IAH and PWM; MSY to CMH and IND; MSO to DEN and PHX; ELP to ONT and SAN; IAH to ONT; MCO to STX; ONT to SEA; and PDX to SLC. They also extended their schedule through November 20.

GOL is resuming service from Fortaleza, Brazil (FOR) to MCO in March. It was last served in March 2020.

Athens International Airport

Lynx removed all their routes this week.

Silver suspended HSV to MCO from April 15 through August 21.

Spirit reduced capacity in May and June 6% and 4% week over week, respectively. They filed six new (BWI to PDX; CLT to IAH; CMH to LGA; SJU to IAH and MSY; and LGA to PIT) and resuming seven routes (BOS to BWI and EWR; BWI to MSY and SAN; MYR to CMH and IND; and IAH to SAN) starting in May. They also suspended 13 routes this summer: ATL to RSW; AUS to LAX; BOS to LAS, MIA, RSW and TPA; CLE to LAS and MIA; DFW to OAK; DTW to MIA; IAH to SAL; LAX to MEM; and MCO to RDU.

United announced and filed new service from IAD to MOB. MOB won a SCASD grant in 2021 for $1.2m ($1m grant and $225k local support) for service to IAD. United provided a letter of support.

Volaris refiled service from Mexico City, Mexico (MEX) to SMF from October onward.
