Themes of the Week
- Allegiant extended their schedule through February 8, 2027.
- JetBlue is exiting MHT and suspending several other routes due to poor performance and high fuel prices.
- United extended their ORD reductions through October.
- United is adding three new international routes.
Capacity Update
Air India (AI)
- Suspended service from Delhi (DEL) to ORD from July onward and reduced capacity between DEL and YVR and Kolcata (CCU) and SFO from June through August.
Air Transat (TS)
- Suspended YUL to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) from September 12 through October 22.
Allegiant (G4)
- Extended their schedule through February 8, 2027.
American (AA)
- Suspended JFK to Barbados (BGI) from November onward.
- Pushed the restart of JFK to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) and PHL to Doha, Qatar (DOH) until early January 2027.
- Removed ATW to PHX from future schedules.
Avianca (AV)
- Added capacity in two former Spirit routes in June through October: Bogota (BOG) to FLL; and Barranquilla (BAQ) to MIA (Spirit served via FLL).
Breeze (MX)
- Suspended ORF to CUN from August 16 through September.
- Suspended DEN to PVD from August 9 through September.
- Suspended RDU to Punta Cana, DO (PUJ) from August 16 through September.
- Increased capacity in three former Spirit overlap markets from July onward: FLL to MYR and PNS; and MCO to MYR.
Delta (DL)
- Added three routes for the ABQ 2026 Balloon Fiesta in October: AUS, DTW and JFK. AUS is anew addition this year. Congrats to Albuquerque International Sunport!
- Starting AUS to PHX four months earlier in July 2026.
Denver Air Connection (KG)
- Suspending DEN to TEX from October 5 onward.
Flair (F8)
- Resuming three Cancun (CUN) routes that last operated in April 2025: YEG, YUL and YYC.
HiSky Europe (H4)
- Added back Bucharest (OTP) to JFK from June onward.
JAL (JL)
- Added special World Cup flights in June from Tokyo-Narita (NRT) to DFW.
JetBlue (B6)
- Suspending all flights to MHT from July 9 onward. They currently serve MHT from FLL, MCO and RSW.
- Other routes JetBlue is suspending in early July are: EWR to AUA, CUN, PUJ, SDQ and TPA; BDL to TPA; and MCO to SJO.
- PVD to SJU will be suspended from July 10 through December 16.
United (UA)
- Reduced capacity to ORD markets in September (-9% week over week) through October (-7% week over week). In September they reduced capacity in 80 markets (37% of all United ORD routes) and in October capacity was reduced in 59.
- Filed three new routes IAH to Caracas, Venezuela (CCS) from August onward. They last served the route in 2017. SFO to Sapporo, Japan (CTS) from December through March. ORD to NRT from October onward. They last served this route in 2020.
- Suspending service from IAD to Edinburgh (EDI) from October 25 through January.
- Suspending service from EWR to Venice (VCE) from October 25 through December.
