Themes of the Week

Allegiant added special NFL football flights from PIT to LAS for the September Sunday night game of Steelers at Raiders.

American increased capacity in September and October by 1% week over week.

China Airlines cancelled Guam (GUM) and Honolulu (HNL) to Taipei (TPE) through March 2024.

Delta reduced capacity in September and October by 3% week over week. They removed JFK to San Salvador (SAL) from future schedules. Delta filed new Saturday only service in July from DTW to PNS and from ILM to MSP. They also filed new service from EGE to LAX from December through March. BOS to HPN was cancelled from September through October.

Frontier cancelled the following routes from early July through either August, September or November: DEN and MDW to Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ); DTW to SJU; and Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL) to LAS and MCO.

Hawaiian cancelled HNL to Sapporo, Japan (CTS) through March 2024.

JetBlue decreased capacity from November onward. January capacity was reduced 10% week over week.

JetLines cancelled FLL to YYZ from June through August and cancelled LAS to YYZ from January onward.

Lynx Air cancelled PHX to YYC fro m July 8 through September.

SAS cancelled ORD to Stockholm, Sweden (ARN) from October 29 through April 2.

Southwest adds DCA to ALB and MEM from July 11 through September 4 after receiving additional slots for the summer 2023 season.

WestJet removed AZA to YYZ from future schedules.

May 1-21 is at 98.8% of 2019 levels and 109.9% of 2022 levels.
