Alaska reduced capacity in April and May 5% and 3% respectively week over week. They suspended four routes in April and May (AUS to BOI; BZN to SFO; and PAE and PDX to TUS).
Allegiant extended their schedule to August 13, 2024. They also announced 12 new routes.
American removed SEA to London-Heathrow (LHR), which was scheduled to start March 31. They are adding an additional daily flight from MIA to LHR starting in April. They suspended DFW to Acapulco, MX (ACA) from January through April. They filed new service from DFW to RDM starting in May. This market won Small Community Air Service Development (SCASD) funding in 2021. The grant was for $800,000 and the total package was $1.3m. RDM had a letter of support from American.
Avianca suspended LAX to Bogota, Colombia (BOG) from January 11 onward.
Delta removed Moab (CNY) to SLC from future schedules (was scheduled to start again in March). They suspended two LGA Saturday only routes in January and February onward: LAX and PHX. JFK to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) is further suspended until February 5.
Frontier suspended service in four markets during February and March: ATL to LIR and SLC; and SJU to DFW and MDW.
LOT Polish suspended LAX to Warsaw, Poland (WAW) in February and March.
Southwest reduced capacity in January and February by 4% and 5% respectively week over week. They suspended two routes from early January through March: IAD to MDW and MCO to RSW.
Spirit reduced capacity again this week by 5% in January and 2% in February week over week.
United announced they would serve Tulum, MX starting on March 31 from EWR, IAH, LAX and ORD.
