Themes of the Week
- Delta is adding back a city they haven’t served since 2008. Hint: it has a great aquarium.
- Frontier extended their schedule and added three former Spirit Colombian markets.
- Volaris is adding three new U.S. routes from Guadalajara.
Capacity Update
Air Canada (AC)
- Suspended two Nassau, Bahamas (NAS) routes from YHZ and YOW from January 9 through February 11.
Air Saint Pierre (PJ)
- Suspended YHZ and YUL to St. Pierre (FSP) from January onward.
- Fun fact: Saint Pierre & Miquelon is an archipelago of eight islands off the coast of Newfoundland. Residents are French citizens and it is part of the European Union.
Air Transat (TS)
- Pushed the seasonal start of YUL to Tulum, Mexico (TQO) from October 24 until December 20.
- Suspended YYZ to Manchester, UK (MAN) from January 4 through March 27.
- Reduced capacity in November -9% and December -4% week over week.
Avelo (XP)
- Suspended ATL to LAL from January 4 onward.
Cabo Verde Airlines (VR)
- Extended their new service to PVD from Praia (RAI) and Sal Island (SID) in Cape Verde through August 2027.
Cape Air (9K)
- Suspending BOS to ISP from November 2 through May 25.
Delta (DL)
- Delta is returning to Monterey, CA (MRY) with service from LAX and SLC starting in December. They last served MRY from SLC in January 2008.
Frontier (F9)
- Extended their schedule to April 5, 2027.
- Filed three new Colombian routes previously served by Spirit starting in mid-December:
- MCO to Bogota(BOG), Cartagena (CTG) and Medellin (MDE).
HiSky (H4)
- Added flights between JFK and Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) from September through October.
La Compagnie (B0)
- Added Dusseldorf, Germany (DUS) to JFK from April 23 onward with five weekly flights.
United (UA)
- Suspending AVL to EWR from January 3 through February 10.
Volaris (Y4)
- Filed three new U.S. to Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL) routes starting in mid-October: BNA, BOS and RDU.
