Air Service One – Bitesize Analysis of the Day – 2nd July 2026 – Toulouse Airport 2015 – 2026

Aéroport Toulouse-Blagnac welcomed 7.63 million passengers in 2025 according to ACI EUROPE, down 3% compared with 2024 and down 21% compared with 2019 when the airport handled 9.62 million passengers.

A decade ago Air France and easyJet accounted for around two-thirds of all annual passengers. According to AIR SERVICE ONE analysis of Cirium schedules their combined share is set to be around one-third this year. However, Air France’s share in 2026 jumps from 17% to 26% if we include Transavia France, which this summer took over the high frequency domestic service to Paris Orly.

Ryanair started serving Toulouse in 2016 and made the airport a base in September 2019. This summer it operates to 34 destinations from Toulouse down from 36 last summer.

easyJet will operate just 11 routes this summer out of a total of 43 routes that it has served at some point since first starting flights at the airport in 2003. It made Toulouse a base in March 2012.

In terms of network development, Transavia added a number of new seasonal destinations last winter while Smartwings began year-round flights from Prague Airport. A significant route dropping was Lufthansa‘s twice-daily service to Frankfurt, which basically terminated at the beginning of March 2026. The only long-haul route in summer from Toulouse is Montreal in Canada, which is served by both Air Canada and Air Transat.
