Aruba Airport is making important progress with Gateway 2030, the airport’s long-term development programme focused on improving capacity and enhancing the passenger experience. A key milestone in 2026 was the opening of the new US Check-In Hall, which includes modern passenger facilities and an advanced baggage handling system. Construction continues on the addition of three waiting areas, boarding bridges, departure bus gates, and an arrival bus gate. These facilities are expected to become operational by mid-December 2026.
