Glasgow to join Discover Airlines’ network from 2027

Discover Airlines will launch flights from Glasgow to both Frankfurt and Munich in 2027, restoring nonstop links between Glasgow and the two German cities.

Flights between Glasgow and Frankfurt will commence on 29 March and operate up to six times per week, while a seasonal summer service to Munich will launch on 16 May with up to two weekly rotations. The new routes will also provide passengers with onward connectivity through the Lufthansa Group’s Frankfurt and Munich hubs to destinations across Europe and further afield.

Whether it’s a weekend exploring Munich’s famous beer gardens, experiencing Frankfurt’s vibrant city centre, or welcoming more German visitors to Glasgow and Scotland, these routes create real benefits on both sides.”

Germany represents one of Scotland’s most important inbound tourism markets, with the new flights expected to support both leisure and business travel while improving access for German visitors to Glasgow and other parts of Scotland.
