Jazeera Airways enters Italian market with Milan Bergamo Airport flights

Kuwaiti low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has launched flights between Kuwait City and Milan Bergamo Airport, marking its entry into the Italian market. The new service, inaugurated today, will operate three times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with the Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The route represents the first direct air link between Milan Bergamo Airport and Kuwait, further expanding the airport’s Middle East network. Airport operator SACBO said the new service is expected to boost inbound tourism to Northern Italy, while also improving connectivity for both leisure and business travellers between the two markets, with onward connections available through Jazeera’s network across the Gulf and wider region.
Commenting on the launch, Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation, Marketing & Communications at airport operator SACBO, said: “The arrival of Jazeera Airways at Milan Bergamo Airport represents an important addition to our airline portfolio and a further step in diversifying our international network. Kuwait is a dynamic market with strong potential, and this new service opens up fresh opportunities for tourism, business travel and visiting friends and relatives traffic. We are pleased to partner with Jazeera Airways on its Italian market debut and are confident this route will be well received by passengers across our catchment area.”
Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading budget airline, operates an expanding network spanning the Middle East, Europe, Central Asia and South Asia from its dedicated terminal at Kuwait International Airport. Milan Bergamo said the addition of Kuwait City further strengthens its position as one of Italy’s fastest-growing international gateways, with nonstop service to 45 countries.
