Milan Bergamo Airport adds new route to growing domestic network

Salerno service adds to Milan Bergamo Airport’s list of new domestic flights.

Milan Bergamo Airport welcomed the launch of another new domestic service on Thursday August 1, with Ryanair introducing 3-weekly rotations to the recently reopened airport in Salerno. The flights will be maintained on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, enhancing both travel options and connectivity within Italy from Milan Bergamo Airport.

Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport recently reopened after nine years. Its strategic location near Salerno offers convenient access to popular destinations such as Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello.

This new route adds to Milan Bergamo Airport’s growing list of domestic travel options. In March, Aeroitalia began a five-weekly service to Perugia, followed by Lumiwings’ two-weekly flights to Foggia in April. Aeroitalia also launched a daily service to Palermo in July, complementing Ryanair’s existing route. Additionally, Ryanair itself introduced a daily service to Olbia at the beginning of the summer season, alongside easyJet and Volotea.

This expansion demonstrates our ongoing efforts to improve connectivity for our passengers. The introduction of new flights to cities like Foggia, Perugia, Palermo, and Olbia, alongside our established offerings, highlights our dedication to facilitating seamless travel across Italy. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with airline partners to deliver more options and convenience for our customers.”
