Münster/Osnabrück marks three successful years of Pristina flights

Münster/Osnabrück Airport celebrated three successful years of flights to Pristina in Kosovo. Operated by GP Aviation on behalf of the PrishtinaTicket tour operator, the service is primarily utilised by VFR (Visiting Friends and Relatives) passengers, however, it also provides a convenient option for business travellers and city break goers.

The airport commemorated the occasion in form of a creative cake. Flights between Münster/Osnabrück and Pristina currently operate 5-weekly. During the winter months, a 2-weekly service is maintained.

Münster/Osnabrück Airport is headed for a record year, with passenger numbers growing over 30% year-on-year during the January – May period. Furthermore, figures are up close to 26% on the pre-pandemic 2019. Last year, it handled 991,471 passengers, matching its pre-Covid levels of 2019. Notably, it exceeded the German average recovery rate, standing out as one of the few airports in the country to achieve full recovery.
