New Route of the Day 1 (15 December 2021): SkyUp Airlines between Odessa and Tel Aviv

ODS - TLV apron letters

SkyUp Airlines has added a new route from Odessa with the introduction on Wednesday 15 December of a weekly service to Tel Aviv in Israel. The 1,640-kilometre route is already served 2-weekly by Ukraine International Airlines. The day of service will change to Sundays on 27 March 2022. From 23 May there will also be additional flights on Mondays and Thursdays.

Odessa base set to grow next summer

The airline’s website is currently listing 16 destinations as being bookable from Odessa. These are Athens, Baku, Barcelona, Batumi*, Corfu, Heraklion, Istanbul IST*, Prague, Rimini, Tbilisi*, Tel Aviv, Thessaloniki, Tirana, Tivat*, Vilnius and Yerevan*. Only five of these routes were operated this summer (those with asterisks), indicating that SkyUp plans a significant expansion to the EU next summer, helped by the recent signing of a Common Aviation Area agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

Prague International Airport

According to the airline’s on-line booking tool, the 10 additional new routes are currently set to start between 20 May 2022 and 1 June 2022, operating either weekly or 2-weekly.
