Tamara Nikiforova, Corporate Communication Manager at Wizz Air, said: “We are happy to continue our expansion into Saudi Arabia from Italy, which started only a few months ago and has already proved to be a success. It is with great pleasure that we inaugurate this unique service to Jeddah, which will allow all passengers departing from Venice’s Marco Polo Airport to benefit from the immense historical, artistic and cultural heritage that this city offers. Furthermore, with this new route, Wizz Air once again confirms its commitment to Veneto, proudly offering passengers departing from the Venice airport system a total of 26 exciting destinations.”
Camillo Bozzolo, the Development Director at airport operator SAVE Group Aviation, added: “After the launch of Yerevan in January, Jeddah today and Riyadh in the coming weeks, Wizz Air will offer 7 medium-haul destinations that will complete its consolidated short-haul network.”
