The new direct connection to Dubai will benefit not only travellers wishing to explore this world metropolis and the tourism gems of the United Arab Emirates but also help enhance business and economic ties between our two countries. Meanwhile, for UAE residents, a direct flight to Riga will open the door to discovering the natural and cultural riches of the Baltic and Scandinavian states.”

flydubai adds fourth European destination since September

Riga is the fourth European destination to be introduced to flydubai’s network since September, when the carrier launched flights to Chisinau in Moldova. It was followed by Iasi in Romania and Vilnius. Emirates codeshares on all four new routes.

As a result of its expanded network, the Dubai-based carrier now serves 135 destinations in 58 countries. Moscow VKO remains flydubai’s most frequent in Europe, with 49-weekly services. It is followed by Bucharest with 21-weekly flights and Belgrade with 17-weekly rotations.
