New Route of the Day (13 December 2021): skyalps between Bolzano and Brussels
skyalps, which operates from the relatively little-known Bolzano Airport in northern Italy, began the first of several new seasonal routes on Monday 13 December, with the introduction of a 2-weekly (Mondays and Fridays) service to Brussels. The inaugural service on the 705-kilometre route was flown using a Q400, registration 9H-EVA. Flights are operated under the IATA code of “BN”, which belongs to Maltese based carrier Luxwing, which actually flies two Q400s (the other registered 9H-BEL) for skyalps.
Apart from Brussels, the airline is preparing to launch 2-weekly flights in the coming days to London LGW and Rotterdam (15 December), Hamburg (16 December) and Copenhagen (19 December). International flights to Berlin (30 June) and Düsseldorf (2 July) launched earlier this year.
