New Route of the Day (2 November 2021): Edelweiss between Zurich and Muscat

Edelweiss, the leisure-focussed subsidiary of SWISS, launched a 2-weekly service from Zurich to Muscat in Oman on Tuesday 2 November. The airline will operate its A340-300s on the 5,110-kilometre route. Oman Air has connected the two airports in the past, including last summer, having started service in December 2011. The Swiss carrier also recently added service to Tanzania from its Zurich base. Another carrier to recently start service to Oman is Air France, which launched 3-weekly service from Paris CDG via Dubai on 24 October
