What they said

Reinald Frankewitz, Head of Airport & Network Relations at Eurowings, said: “We are very happy about the successful addition of Amman to the Eurowings route network. This expands our growing range of attractive medium-haul destinations and brings the fascinating travel destination of Jordan a good deal closer, particularly for southern Germany. As a culturally diverse metropolis with over 9,000 years of history, Amman captivates visitors with an exciting mix of ancient monuments and modern city life – coupled with impressive hospitality. We are convinced that the country will gain many new fans thanks to its easy accessibility and the close and trusting cooperation with our partners in Amman.”

Emad Hijazeen, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan, added: “Enhancing air connectivity remains at the heart of our tourism growth strategy. Germany is the largest outbound tourism market in the European Union, and the launch of this new Eurowings route from Stuttgart to Amman strengthens the bridges between our two countries.”

Eurowings with largest Middle East network

Eurowings has used the 2025/26 winter to grow its Middle East network with a Berlin-centric build-out and targeted additions from western and southern Germany.

From Berlin, the carrier now serves both Dubai airports and two further Gulf points: Dubai DXB daily from 26 October, Dubai DWC 4-weekly from 4 November, Jeddah 2-weekly from 3 November, and, new this season, Abu Dhabi 3-weekly from 3 November, with all services operated by A320neo equipment.

The Berlin – Dubai service is also being trialled with the new 2-2 “Premium BIZ” seat from November to court higher-yield traffic. Complementing Berlin, Eurowings adds Dusseldorf -Dubai DWC 3-weekly from 13 December, while Hanover – Dubai begins 3-weekly from 4 November.

Beyond the Gulf, Stuttgart gains a 2-weekly Jeddah service, in addition to the new Amman flights. In addition, the carrier is launching operations to Beirut for the first time from Hanover (from 6 November), Salzburg (28 October) and Prague (7 November), each weekly.
