New Route of the Day (30 March 2026): SWISS between Zurich and Poznan

SWISS inaugurated flights between Zurich and Poznan on Monday 30 March. The 815-kilometre service will be operated 3-weekly, on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, primarily by Embraer E190 aircraft. The Star Alliance member is the sole operator on the route.

Flight LX1364 departs Zurich at 16:45 local time, arriving in Poznan at 18:20. The return service, operating as flight LX1365, takes off at 19:05 local time, touching back down in Switzerland at 20:55 local time.

And with our new destination of Poznan, we’re further expanding our flight programme precisely where we see particularly strong demand.”

SWISS operating 112 destinations this summer

SWISS will serve a total of 112 destinations from Zurich and Geneva in its 2026 summer schedule. Travellers from Zurich have 70 European and 25 intercontinental destinations on offer, while services from Geneva will extend to New York JFK and 29 short-haul destinations.

Apart from Poznan, SWISS is also introducing flights from Zurich to Rijeka in Croatia this summer. Services from Zurich will also be increased to several points in Europe, including Alicante, Valencia, Manchester, Montpellier, Tirana, Budapest and Venice, with the latter two receiving 28 and 29-weekly flights. Services from Geneva have a particular emphasis on Greece and Portugal this summer.

Poznan is Poland’s fifth-largest city, standing on the Warta River and, with its university and its historic Old Town, is regarded as one of the most attractive in the country. The city also features a lively trade fair scene.

Poznan becomes the fifth destination in Poland to be served by SWISS, joining Warsaw WAW, Gdansk, Krakow and Wroclaw.
