New Route of the Day – Americas (12 May 2023): Delta between Atlanta and Nice

Delta introduced a seasonal service between its main hub Atlanta and Nice on Friday 12 May, marking the resumption of flights between the two cities after 17 years. The 7,645-kilometre route will be maintained daily with the 767-400 aircraft. The airline faces no competition.

Flight DL24 departs Atlanta at 20:50 local time, arriving in Nice at 12:15 local time the following day. The return service, operating as DL25, takes off from the French city at 11:00 local time, arriving back in Atlanta at 15:15 local time.

Delta serves 15 European routes from Atlanta hub

Nice becomes Delta’s 15th European destination out of Atlanta, which will grow to 16 when it inaugurates seasonal flights to Edinburgh on 14 May. It maintains year-round operations to a total of eight European cities. These include Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London LHR, Madrid, Milan MXP, Munich, Paris CDG and Rome FCO. In addition to Nice and the upcoming Edinburgh route, the SkyTeam member also serves a further six destinations on a seasonal basis, among which are Athens, Barcelona, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, and Venice VCE.

The new Atlanta – Nice service will be maintained until 19 September. Delta also serves the French city from New York JFK daily on a seasonal summer basis.
