New Route of the Day – Americas (23 February 2024): Breeze between Orlando MCO and Evansville


Breeze continued it network expansion with the launch of flights between Orlando MCO and Evansville in Indiana on Friday 23 February. The 1,210-kilometre service will be maintained 2-weekly, Mondays and Fridays, with the 137-seat A220-300 aircraft. There is no competition between the two cities.

Flight MX812 departs Orlando MCO at 17:47 local time, arriving at 19:07 local time. The return service, operating as flight MX813, takes off from the Indiana airport at 20:47 local time, touching back down in Florida at 23:57 local time.

Breeze enters Indiana market

Breeze’s new flights to Evansville mark the airline’s first destination in Indiana. With a population of just over 118,400, Evansville is Indiana’s third-most populous city. Breeze also becomes the fourth airline to serve the city, complementing Allegiant, American and Delta.

American is the largest airline in Evansville, based on the number of operated flights and capacity, with the carrier serving Charlotte and Dallas/Fort Worth.

Breeze currently offers a mix of more than 150 year-round and seasonal nonstop routes between 50 cities in 27 states.
