With this expanded connectivity through our Salt Lake City hub, we’re proud to offer a faster, more convenient way to reach Lima and other major cities across South America.”

Spencer J. Delta expands Salt Lake City’s long-haul network

Lima is one of two international routes to be launched by Delta Air Lines from Salt Lake City this year. In June it introduced flights to Seoul ICN. As a result, it serves twelve international destinations from the Utah airport. Apart from the two added this year, they include Amsterdam, Calgary, Cancun, London LHR, Mexico City, Paris CDG, Puerto Vallarta, San Jose del Cabo, Vancouver and Toronto YYZ.

Delta is by far Salt Lake City’s biggest airline with 23.1 million seats in 2025, up 1.9% from 22.7 million in 2024. The carrier holds a commanding capacity share of 69.6%. It operated a peak of 255-daily departures this year at the airport.

Delta recently began construction of a new cargo terminal at Salt Lake City. It follows the opening of a new pilot training facility at the airport late last year.
