New Route of the Day – Americas (6 August 2025): American between Dallas DFW and Quebec City
American introduced seasonal flights between its Dallas DFW hub and Quebec City on Wednesday 6 August. The 2,665-kilometre service will be maintained weekly with the E175 aircraft. The Oneworld member faces no competition between the two.
Flight AA4136 departs Dallas DFW at 10:09 local time, arriving in Quebec City at 15:00 local time. The return service, operating as AA3884, takes off at 15:50 local time, touching back down in Texas at 18:56 local time.
The service will conclude on 1 November.

Stephane Poirier, President and CEO of Quebec Airport, said: “We’re delighted to have Dallas-Fort Worth added to our selection of destinations, and to see the route between Quebec City and Charlotte increase in frequency as well. With four destinations now offered, American Airlines has shown great confidence in us. These additions will also improve connectivity to destinations such as the Caribbean, Europe, and all of the United States, since DFW, Charlotte, Chicago, and Philadelphia are all key hubs for the airline.”

Quebec City gains sixth US destination
This summer, Quebec City boasts 58-weekly flights to the US operated by three airlines, with American having the most flights. Others include United and Air Transat.
Dallas DFW becomes the sixth airport in the US served from Quebec. It joins New York EWR (United), Philadelphia (American), Charlotte (American), Chicago ORD (American, United) and Fort Lauderdale (Air Transat).
American operates 29-weekly flights between Quebec and the US, offering 2,022 weekly seats in each direction. United has 28-weekly rotations and 2,128 weekly seats, while Air Transat maintains a weekly flight with its 199-seat A321neo.
