Hartford targets London flights

Bradley International Airport is about halfway between Hartford and Springfield in Massachusetts. It is the state of Connecticut’s busiest commercial airport and the second-busiest airport in New England after Boston’s Logan International Airport, with over 6.2 million passengers in 2023, just shy of its pre-pandemic record of 6.7 million travellers.

The airport serves as an operating base for Breeze. Despite this, American, jetBlue and Southwest are the biggest carriers based on the amount of available capacity. Frontier comes in seventh. Its new service to Tampa is complemented by flights to San Juan, Orlando MCO, and Raleigh-Durham.

Notably, Bradely International Airport boasts nonstop flights to Dublin, operated by Aer Lingus. It is now pushing for the introduction of services to London, according to the Connecticut Airport Authority.

The airport currently offers 40 destinations within its portfolio operated by 11 airlines. The majority have been added over the past 18 month by Breeze.
