New Routes of the Day (7 November 2025): Eurowings’ new routes from Prague

Eurowings introduced flights from Prague to Beirut and Marrakesh on Friday November 7 and Saturday November 8 respectively. The 2,505-kilometre service to the Lebanese capital will be maintained weekly, while the 2,765-kilometre route to Morocco’s fourth largest city will operate 2-weekly, on Thursdays and Saturdays. The LCC has no competition on either of the two.
Eurowings reduces Prague capacity
Although Eurowings has introduced two unserved routes from Prague, the carrier is reducing its overall capacity from the Czech capital this winter. The airline has reduced its base count in Prague from three A320s in the summer to two over winter and shrunk its scheduled network from 15 destinations in summer to 11 during the winter period.
While the overall seat capacity at Prague Airport is growing by more than 12% year-on-year for this winter season, Eurowings’ Prague-specific contribution is nuanced. The LCC is cutting certain city-routes such as Rome FCO and Barcelona, and postponing several Canary Island services originally planned, while simultaneously introducing new charter and scheduled holiday services like Fuerteventura, Hurghada and Marsa Alam.
During the 2025/26 winter season, Eurowings has 171,300 seats on scheduled flights on its Prague operations. The figure represents a decrease of 9.7% year-over-year. Dusseldorf, Stockholm ARN and Geneva will be the most frequent in its Prague network.
Prague Airport with 127 destinations this winter
Prague Airport’s 2025/26 winter network offers 15 new destinations, complemented by 12 new airlines. This will result in a seat capacity increase of more than 12%. In total, Prague Airport will be linked to 127 destinations worldwide, served by 66 carriers.
Among the new additions compared to last winter are cities such as Amman (Ryanair), Abu Dhabi (Etihad Airways), Beirut (Eurowings), Bordeaux (easyJet, Volotea), Cork (Aer Lingus), Sharjah (Air Arabia) and Toulouse (Smartwings). Wizz Air is also adding Iasi, Yerevan and Skopje to its network.
Charter traffic will further enhance the offer, including flights to the Maldives, Muscat and Sharm el Sheikh. More than 20 existing routes will also see additional weekly frequencies, including Athens, Dublin, Reykjavík, Paris, Catania, Copenhagen and Malaga.
