New Routes of the Day – Americas 2 (26 May 2022): Spirit at Salt Lake City

SLC first flightSpirit (IATA code NK) has started serving Salt Lake City in Utah for the first time. On 26 May, the ULCC began daily service from Los Angeles and Orlando MCO, and 2-daily service from Las Vegas. All three routes are already well served by other carriers:

  • Las Vegas: Delta (35-weekly), Southwest (33-weekly), Frontier (4-weekly)
  • Los Angeles: Delta (55-weekly), Alaska Airlines (24-weekly), JetBlue (14-weekly), Southwest (13-weekly) and United (13-weekly)
  • Orlando MCO: Delta (32-weekly), JetBlue (5-weekly)
