Volaire Aviation Consulting brings successful air service forum to St. Augustine in Florida
The Volaire Air Service Forum kicked off last week in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida. The event, sponsored by Northeast Florida Regional Airport, took place at the Casa Monica Resort and Spa, Autograph Collection in St. Augustine on Florida’s historic coast.
The Volaire team was proud to welcome 45 airports, 16 airline attendees, and 11 sponsors to St. Augustine for there Air Service Forum – the first to be hosted since April of 2019. While this Forum was re-scheduled three times, the event hosted 125 attendees at a critical time for air service development.
Attendees took part in more than 300 one-to-one meetings over 28 meetings slots. While the conference certainly looked different than in the past – with most donning masks at socially distanced meeting tables – the substance of the conversations was as high quality as ever.
Volaire Managing Partner Jack Penning said, “As always, we work exceptionally hard to secure meetings our client airports request. We were able to match airports with 89% of their requested meetings at the Forum – an all time high completion factor.”
The event provided network opportunities for all attendees with opening reception and dinner, as well as cocktail reception and dinner at the St. Augustine Fish Camp.
