New Route of the Day (1 October 2026): World2Fly between Madrid and Rosario

Leisure carrier World2Fly inaugurated flights between Madrid and Rosario in Argentina on Thursday 1 October. The 10,030-kilometre route will be maintained 2-weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the 432-seat A350-900 aircraft. The airline is the first to maintain flights between the two cities.
What they said
Bruno Claeys, Director General at World2Fly, said: “The inauguration of this new connection between Madrid and Rosario represents an important step in the development of our network in Latin America. We are opening a new route that connects Rosario directly with Europe for the first time and offers our passengers a new alternative for travel between Spain and Argentina. We will continue working to develop connections that respond to the needs of our customers and help bring the two markets closer together.”
Maximiliano Pullaro, Governor of Santa Fe, added: “We invested in this airport so families can shorten distances, travel for tourism and so business can be done, because opening a new air route means opening a new commercial route. Today Rosario reaches the world and Europe in a more agile, faster and more economical way.”
World2Fly expands its Latin American network
World2Fly is part of World2Meet, the travel division of Spain’s Iberostar Group, and has built its business around long-haul leisure destinations. Since beginning operations in 2021, the airline has expanded its network from Madrid and Lisbon across Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and other international leisure markets.
Its Madrid network now includes destinations such as Cancun, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Havana and Cali, while the company added Cartagena to its Colombian operations this July.
Rosario becomes the airline’s first destination in Argentina. It is located 300 kilometres northwest of Buenos Aires and is the country’s third-largest city. It also becomes the third city in Argentina with nonstop flights to Madrid, joining the capital and Cordoba.
