Condor opens Münster/Osnabrück base

Condor

Condor has opened a base at Münster/Osnabrück, strengthening its presence at the German airport with three winter sun routes and further expansion planned for the 2027 summer season.

The carrier and its sister airline, Marabu Airlines, have already served the airport over the past three summer seasons.

During this winter, Condor will operate 2-weekly flights each to Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Hurghada, providing six weekly departures from Münster/Osnabrück.

Eight destinations planned for S27

Condor will expand its network from the airport to eight destinations next summer. Daily flights to Palma de Mallorca will return, while the three winter routes will continue. Tenerife and Hurghada will each retain 2-weekly services, while Gran Canaria will be served weekly.

Four further destinations will join the network in May 2027. Heraklion will operate 3-weekly, while Fuerteventura, Rhodes and Chania will each be served 2-weekly. Together, the planned summer programme will comprise 21 weekly departures.

Mathias Richter, Head of Aviation Business Development at Münster/Osnabrück Airport, said: “We are delighted that Condor is increasing its presence at FMO today. By opening a base here, Condor will launch three highly sought-after leisure routes for the upcoming winter season. These additional destinations will give leisure travellers more options for enjoying some winter sun, while further enhancing our airport’s connectivity.”

Münster/Osnabrück Airport, located in northwestern Germany, handled close to 520,000 passengers during the first half of the year and is one of the few airports in Germany that is open 24/7, enabling airlines to plan flights with complete flexibility.
